Since media, particularly television, are an important source of sex education, it is relevant to know what types of sexual messages are being depicted on television. This research examines what types and frequencies of sexual behaviors are found in Mexican telenovelas produced by Televisa, Mexico's largest television network, and how they have changed over time.
